Wie kann ich die Lösungsmitteldatenbank mit meinen eigenen typischen Lösungsmitteln erweitern?Unter Anwendungen kann eine Liste von Lösungsmitteln gefunden werden und die jeweiligen Parameter, die für die Lösungsmitteldatenbank verwendet werden. Die Parameter und der Name kann dann in die V-850/855 Kontroller-Datenbank eingefügt werden. Bis zu 15 Lösungsmittel können hinzugefügt werden.
Controller Upgrade
Can I upgrade my V-850 Controller with the features of the V-855 (like EasyVac, Gradient function,..)?
No. There is no possibility of an update. Thus, you have to consider your requirements during evaluation.
Inert Gas Ventilation
Can I ventilate my distillation system with inert gas?
The integtrated aeration valve can directly be connected to inert gas to prevent any oxygen in the distillation system. However, the rotary evaporator must not be under overpressure to prevent solvent entering into the gearhead.
Compatibility valve unit and Controller
I sill have an older Vaccum Valve unit available. Can I use it with the V-850 Vacuum Controller?
Yes, the older type of valve units are compatible and can be used. The holder, however, is not designed for the new Rotavapor models, but the valve unit can be attached on the side.
Autodistillation probe
What is the difference between autodistillation and EasyVac?
The autodistillation is an automatic process based on a probe inserted in the vertical condenser. The phase change is detected in the condenser and the process parameters adjusted accordingly. Thus, even complex distillations can be performed in an automatic manner. In contrary, the EasyVac function is based on the detection of the vapour pressure at the Controller. It is a well suited and reliable principle for the distillation of single solvents.
USB data readout
How can I write data for a process protocol on my computer?
The Vacuum Controller has a USB port to read out all process relevant data, incl. the heating bath. This parameter is transmitted to the Controller via a infrared connection.
